City Of Haines issued the following announcement on July 20.
In case you haven't heard, we have utilized the latest GPS technology to make it easier for visitors to find the gravesites of lost loved ones at Forest Hill and Oakland Cemetery.
“Visiting lost loved ones can be very emotional and sometimes frustrating,” City Clerk Erica Anderson said. “We’ve been working to make this experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.”
