City Of Lakeland issued the following announcement on Mar. 15.
Suspended license due to an unpaid traffic ticket or court fine? For ONE DAY ONLY, Polk County is putting the brakes on collection fees and getting drivers back on the road.
Operation Green Light takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 2. People with suspended licenses can pay overdue fines while saving up to 40 percent in additional fees to get their license back.
