City Of Lake Wales issued the following announcement on Jun. 12.
Plans are in motion to resurface Dr. J. A. Wiltshire Avenue between Scenic Highway and North Wales Drive, as well as Park Avenue between Lakeshore Boulevard and Cypress Garden Lane.
Additionally, Crystal Avenue will be enhanced between Wetmore Street and First Street. An innovative redesign of Crystal Avenue will feature a safer street to accommodate parallel parking and designated pedestrian space for residents and visitors.
Anticipate construction to being later this year.
For those residents who travel these roads, please allow extra travel time during construction.
