City Of Bartow issued the following announcement on Aug. 10.

Saturday is the Last Day to Request a Ballot to be Mailed

POLK COUNTY, FL (August 10, 2022) – Polk County Voters have until Saturday, August 13th to submit a request for a ballot to be mailed for the August 23rd Statewide Primary Election.  Requests for mail ballots can be made by contacting the Elections Office at (863) 534-5888 or online at PolkElections.gov.  “No stamp is necessary to return the ballot as the return postage is pre-paid,” said Supervisor of Elections, Lori Edwards.  

Mail ballots may be returned by mail or dropped off to the Supervisor of Elections Office until 7 pm on Election Day. Ballots may also be dropped off at one of the nine convenient Early Voting sites.
