City Of Lakeland issued the following announcement on Aug. 19.
The Lakeland History and Culture Center will be opening in September!
Watch for notices with specific dates for the re-opening of the Lakeland Public Library located at 100 Lake Morton Drive. At that time adult collections and computers will be accessible again. The History Room will be open and DIY option will be available for patrons.
Renovation of the Lakeland Public Library will continue with Phase two which will limit some services for the Youth Services Department through early 2023 but space has been set aside on the adult service floor for their collections and computers.
