City Of Haines issued the following announcement on Dec. 05.
Another Glitter, Glisten and Snow event is in the books and Haines City residents of all ages enjoyed holiday music, food, and a very busy Santa Claus Saturday at Lake Eva park. There was even a tiny dinosaur on hand to celebrate the holiday season. Who knew dinosaurs were into the Yuletide spirit?
The tree lighting and Santa grew large crowds. We nominate Santa for Employee of the Month for his hard work Saturday night.
Thank you very much to all of the event sponsors, vendors and the many city employees who worked hard to make our annual Christmas party a success.
