With Spring on the way (more or less already here), landscaping and yard maintenance may be finding a place on your to-do list. Find and install plants that need less water and maintenance to thrive! Learn about plant species that are native or friendly to our local environment and avoid invasive species. Water efficiently to save on your utility bill! Fertilize appropriately to help protect our lakes and water sources from nutrient runoff.
There is a lot of helpful information provided by the Florida-Friendly Program including their excellent FFL Plant Guide database.
