Congressman Scott Franklin, who represents Florida's 18th district, recently expressed his views on several key issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his positions on federal employee work arrangements, legislative progress regarding the Laken Riley Act, and wildfire management efforts.

On January 22, 2025, Congressman Franklin voiced his support for President Biden's decision to end remote work for federal employees. He emphasized the importance of government agencies being results-focused by stating: "Well, it’s about time! I’m thrilled @POTUS is ending remote work for federal employees. The first step to ensuring government agencies are results-focused is mandating bureaucrats SHOW UP to the office full time, five days a week."

Later that day, he commented on the progress of the Laken Riley Act, noting its advancement to President Trump's desk. Franklin stated: "Glad the Laken Riley Act is heading to President Trump's desk! My statement on below"

On January 23, 2025, Congressman Franklin announced significant legislative achievements related to wildfire management. He shared that two priorities co-sponsored with Representative Josh Harder had passed in the House as part of the Fix Our Forests Act. Addressing ongoing California fires and supporting federal firefighters were highlighted as critical components: "BREAKING: Two of my and @RepJoshHarder's priorities just passed the House as part of the Fix Our Forests Act. As devastating CA fires rage on, we must address the wildfire crisis and support our federal firefighters."
