Scott Franklin, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 18th district since 2021, has been actively addressing various legislative issues through his social media presence. On January 24, 2025, Congressman Scott Franklin highlighted the importance of financial preparedness for natural disasters in Florida. Later that day, he expressed gratitude towards fellow lawmakers who supported this initiative. In another post on the same date during the March for Life event, Franklin announced the reintroduction of his bill aimed at closing financial loopholes exploited by abortion providers. He declared: "Today,during March for Life,I reintroduced my bill,the Prohibiting Abortion Industry’s Lucrative Loopholes Act,to stop abortion providers from exploiting loopholes to profit off fetal remains.Congress must eliminate this despicable practice once and for all.".
