On Tuesday, March 18, former McKeel Academy of Technology standout Alex Sessoms’ current collegiate team the Nova Southeastern Sharks won 76-69 against the Alabama Huntsville Chargers in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Rick Case Arena, this was the first game against the Alabama Huntsville Chargers during the championship.

Alex Sessoms’ hometown is Lakeland and game position is guard.
