Sunday, March 2: Lake Region High School standout Alex Wright’s college team loses to Texas Longhorns

On Sunday, March 2, former Lake Region High School standout Alex Wright’s current college team, the South Florida Bulls, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Texas Longhorns.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Longhorns this season.

The Bulls’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 4 p.m. at USF Softball Stadium against Siena Saints.
