Sunday, March 2: Lake Wales Senior High School standout Sydnie Whitaker’s college team loses to Texas Longhorns

On Sunday, March 2, former Lake Wales Senior High School standout Sydnie Whitaker’s current college team, the South Florida Bulls, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Texas Longhorns.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Longhorns this season.

The Bulls’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 4 p.m. at USF Softball Stadium against Siena Saints.
