Becker

Florida Southern issued the following announcement on Dec. 9

The Princeton Review has included the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise as one of the nation’s 244 best on-campus Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs in its prestigious national college guide for students and parents. This is the fourth consecutive year that Florida Southern College’s MBA program has been selected for inclusion in the annual guide. Best Business Schools for 2021 was released Dec. 8.

The Barnett Business School also is included among the 60 MBA programs in the guide’s Best Business Schools (Southeast) regional list, and among the 125 MBA programs in the listing of Best Online MBA Programs.

Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review, strongly recommended Florida Southern College and all other schools in the 2021 listing for their outstanding MBA programs which offer “stellar academics as well as robust experiential components. … Our goal, for the 25+ years we've conducted this project, is to help MBA applicants identify the business schools best for them.”

The Princeton Review’s lists for 2021 are based on data from surveys of nearly 24,000 students enrolled in MBA programs at 369 schools, and of administrators at those schools.

“Our MBA program’s inclusion by The Princeton Review is further validation and recognition of the high-quality program that our faculty have developed and deliver to our outstanding students,” said Dr. Michael Weber, dean of the Barnett Business School. “FSC’s successful alumni are employed in high-profile positions across all major industries, which is a testament to the MBA program’s focus on innovative and experiential curriculum.”

“It is wonderful to receive this recognition again,” said Dr. Brad Hollingshead, FSC’s provost and vice president for academic affairs. “It not only speaks importantly to the quality learning experience that students can expect in our MBA program, but also to the outstanding work of our faculty. They do a remarkable job of ensuring that the program remains at the forefront of business education year in and year out.”
