A Message from the principal regarding Meet The Teacher:
Good Evening Littlewood Families,
This is Mr. Russell with a back to school update. Meet the Teacher is scheduled for Friday, August 6. Here is some helpful information, and a few important changes:
We really want to limit traffic on campus, and therefore are assigning times based on your child's last name:
Last names A-K will come between 12:15 - 1:00
Last names L-Z will come between 1:15 - 2:00.
Please try to limit the people you bring to Meet the Teacher-- just one parent per child is encouraged.
The current district policy is that masks are strongly encouraged on campus. I will notify you if this policy changes.
Teachers will send an email on Thursday before the close of business to introduce themselves as your child's tentative teacher. This will happen for all students who are fully registered as long as their parents have a working email. We hope that this will limit the congregating of a large crowd.
We will also have rosters posted and staff throughout campus to help direct families.
The front office will be closed during Meet the Teacher unless you have an appointment to register your child or need to visit the school nurse.
There will NOT be staggered start for Kindergarten students. All kindergarten students will start on the first day of school (Tuesday, August 10).
