Half Staff Alert
Flags should be flown at half-staff Saturday, September 11, 2021.
By a joint resolution approved Dec. 18, 2001 (Public Law 107-89) has designated September 11 of each year as "Patriot Day," which also directs the flags be lowered to half-staff for the entire day on September 11.
On Patriot Day we reaffirm the spirit of patriotism, service and community that we felt in those days and months that followed the September 11 attack.
