County Of Polk issued the following announcement on Jan. 03.
Christmas is over and it is time to dispose of your live Christmas tree. What to do? Simply place your live tree on the curb with the rest of your yard waste. Please note that if there are any tinsel or ornaments still on the tree, it will need to be disposed as regular garbage.
