City Of Haines issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.
Congratulations to Edward Dean!
During Tuesday night's special meeting, City Commissioners voted to select Dean as the next city manager.
Dean formerly managed the small Florida town of Greenville near Tallahassee and previously served in an administrative role at Florida A&M University.
