City Of Haines issued the following announcement on Jan. 25.
City officials celebrated the groundbreaking of the Ember Dog Park this afternoon. Parks and Recreation Director Terrell Griffin gave the history of the the Fire Department’s late fire dog, Ember.
City Commissioners also spoke of what the park means to the city.
