City Of Clearwater issued the following announcement on July 26.
Moffitt Cancer Center will be doing a cancer screening event at the Pier 60 Pavilion on Clearwater Beach, Sat., July 31 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.
Any and all beachgoers, passersby, etc. are welcome, regardless of whether or not you have insurance coverage. Free sunscreen and education materials will be provided. Early detection is key to the successful treatment of skin, head, neck and oral cancers.
