City Of Eagle Lake issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.
This Thursday, Santa Claus will be riding with the Polk County Fire Department starting at 7:00 P.M. (The firetruck will have loud sirens going off throughout the duration of their route).
Santa's Route will start at Assembly Street, and then he will work his way South, crossing HWY 17 to Country Walk Subdivision. Sleighing his way back up North, on to Eagle Lake Loop Rd, and finishing in Squire's Grove Subdivision.
Please keep your children on the sidewalk for their safety. We will be tossing candy bags to the children!
