a. Approval of January 3, 2022 City Commission Regular Meeting minutes.

b. Issuance of proclamation recognizing January 23-29, 2022 as School Choice Week in Bartow.

c. Issuance of proclamation recognizing January 22-28, 2022 as Polk County Youth Fair Week.

d. Approval to reappoint Board Member Keith Miller to the Planning & Zoning Commission for a three-year term ending February 2025.

e. Approval to reappoint Board Member Carver Young to the Recreation Advisory Board for a three-year term ending January 2025.

f. Authorization for Bartow Police Department to use forfeiture funds from State Forfeiture Fund (GL # 001-223000-004-000) to pay for the replacement of 50 Patrol Rifles, and the purchase of Tactical Team Equipment.

g. Acceptance and authorization for the Bartow Police Department to use a $18,000 Florida Department of Law Enforcement JAG Countywide grant to purchase a Biometric Live Scan System, two Night Vision Goggles, three Protech Body Bunker Entry Shields, two Blackhawk Dynamic Entry Rams and two Blackhawk Dynamic Entry backpack kits.

h. Acceptance and authorization for the Bartow Police Department to use a $5,152 Florida Department of Law Enforcement JAG Direct grant for an upgrade to current facility security equipment.

i. Approval of City Commissioner absence(s) for January 3, 2022 excusal(s): None
