City Of Winter Haven issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.
Three of our Winter Haven Water team members participated in mock interviews with students at Lake Region High School’s Water Academy today to help prepare students for their future careers.
The water academy at Lake Region High School is designed to teach students about water resources, and various aspects of the water utility industry. The academy will prepare students to receive their state certification they will need to work as a professional water treatment operator upon graduation.
The Winter Haven Water Department is proud to invest in the future of the water industry!
