Auburndale Public Library has a new Librarian!
Wayne McCarty became an employee of the City of Auburndale in 2007 as a library assistant. He earned the Customer Service Employee of the Year award in 2016 and was promoted to Assistant Librarian one year later. In November of 2021, Wayne was given the opportunity to lead the Auburndale Public Library as Interim Librarian and was promoted in January to be the Librarian. Wayne is a 2003 graduate of Auburndale High School.
