City Of Haines issued the following announcement on Feb 28.
Don't forget that you'll have the opportunity to drop off your unwanted household hazardous waste and electronics this coming weekend!
From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, you can drop off your hazardous materials at Public Works, 300 N. Fifth St.
Accepted materials include: electronics, fax machines, cleaners, paint thinners, ballasts, antifreeze, computers, stains, aerosol cans, motor oil and filters, kerosene, insecticides, monitors, batteries, solvents, herbicides, gasoline, pool chemicals, televisions, florescent tubes, paints, poison and brake fluid.
