City Of Lakeland issued the following announcement on Mar. 05.
On this #EmployeeAppreciationDay, we’d like to recognize our Code Enforcement officers, who work every day to improve the health, safety, and cleanliness of our city.
These dedicated but often overlooked individuals investigate illegal dumping, derelict buildings, overgrown lots, junked cars, environmental hazards, and more. Whether responding to citizen complaints or initiating cases themselves, they use their knowledge and training to identify problems and help property owners come into compliance with housing, zoning, and nuisance laws.
Lakeland’s hardworking Code Enforcement officers are: Dennis Browning, Adam Gomez, Alex Gomez, Angie Kaiser, Charles McClellan, Daniel Povey, and Daniel Sheets.
We thank them for their efforts to ensure community safety and preserve property values!
