City Of Lake Wales issued the following announcement on Mar. 25.
The James P. Austin Community Center is receiving needed attention as the roof is being replaced. Water intrusion became a prevalent issue throughout the facility. The center is one of the city’s rental facilities and is also the home of the Lake Wales Branch of The Boys and Girls Club of Polk County.
The City Commission approved the proposal from Rogers Roofing in the amount of $42,585.00 on January 4, 2022.
