City Of Bartow issued the following announcement on Oct. 04.
FLAGS HALF-STAFF OCTOBER 9, 2022
In accordance with Public Law 107-51, the American flag should be lowered to half-staff on Sunday, October 9 sunrise to sunset in observance of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. 148 firefighters lost their lives since last year's memorial.
