Public hearing and final reading and consideration of Ordinance No. 2022-19 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA; SAID AMENDMENT BEING KNOWN AS “AMENDMENT #CPA-22-05-SS”; SPECIFICALLY TO CHANGE THAT PARCEL OF LAND OWNED BY STARGARD GROUP LLC, FROM AGRICULTURE TO MIXED USE / NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND AMEND THE TEXT OF OBJECTIVE 2.9 AND POLICY 2.9.2 OF THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT TO INCREASE THE TOTAL ACREAGE OF THE WILSON RANCH PLANNED DEVELOPMENT FROM 897.1 ACRES TO 899.2 ACRES AND LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FROM 337.7 ACRES TO 339.8 ACRES; TRANSMITTING SAID AMENDMENT TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY (DEO) FOR A FINDING OF COMPLIANCE; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERROR; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.

Public hearing and adoption of Resolution No. 22-4132-R - A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE HIGHLAND PROFESSIONAL PARK PD TO 1) CHANGE THE PERMITTED USES FOR THE PROPERTY FROM BANK/FINANCIAL INSTITUTION; CLINIC; CLUBS, COMMUNITY/FRATERNAL; MEDICAL/HEALTH CARE OFFICE; BUSINESS OFFICE; MEDICAL LABORATORY; PERSONAL SERVICES, PROFESSIONAL OFFICE; AND REAL ESTATE/BUSINESS OFFICE TO RV/BOAT STORAGE AND PERSONAL SELF STORAGE; AND 2) AMEND CONDITION OF APPROVAL # 1 TO SPECIFY A NEW PLAN RECEIVED DATE. THE PROPERTY IS OWNED BY BAKER’S ACRES LC, AND IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 450’ SOUTH OF E.F. GRIFFIN ROAD; BETWEEN E.F. d. Public Hearing and adoption of Resolution No. 22-4133-R – A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA ELECTING TO USE THE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTION FOR NON-AD VALOREM SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED WITHIN THE INCORPORATED AREAS OF THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR THE MAILING OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

e. First reading and approval of Ordinance No. 2022-20 – AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF ESTATES AT SIXTY, BEING A SUBDIVISION LYING IN A PORTION OF SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 25 EAST, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA; AGREEING TO ACCEPT FOR MAINTENANCE BY THE CITY OF BARTOW CERTAIN IM PROVEMENTS THEREIN DEDICATED TO THE PUBLIC  UPON THE SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF ITS CONSTRUCTION; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERROR; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.
