City Of Frostproof issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.
CITY OF FROSTPROOFNOTICE OF ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that the City of Frostproof will hold a Regular Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., for the election of two City Council members.
CITY COUNCIL SEAT 2 – three-year termCITY COUNCIL SEAT 3 – three-year term
The qualifying period begins Monday, February 13, 2023, at 12:00 Noon and ends on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at City Hall, 111 West First Street, Frostproof.
To become a candidate, you must be a registered voter in Polk County, a qualified elector in the City of Frostproof and a resident of the City of Frostproof. Seat 2 and Seat 3 will be for three year terms.
