Second reading and consideration of Ordinance No. 2023-04 – AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BARTOW AMENDING THE CITY OF BARTOW GENERAL EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT PLAN, AS PREVIOUSLY RESTATED BY ORDINANCE NO. 2021-11; AMENDING SECTION 25 RELATED TO MILITARY SERVICE PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT; AMENDING SECTION 26 RELATED TO PRIOR GOVERNMENT SERVICE; ADDING SECTION 29 RELATED TO PURCHASE OF NON-QUALIFIED CREDITED SERVICE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
