Congressman Scott Franklin, representing Florida's 18th district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing legislative initiatives and political endorsements. The congressman, who has been serving since 2021 after replacing Ross Spano, is known for his active engagement in issues affecting his constituents.

On February 4, 2025, Congressman Franklin announced the reintroduction of the Defending Domestic Orange Juice Production Act. In collaboration with Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the entire Florida Delegation, Franklin emphasized efforts to support local orange juice production by "cutting red tape," "updating FDA standards," "boosting local production," and "reducing dependence on foreign juice."

In another tweet dated February 5, 2025, Franklin expressed support for President Trump's use of tariffs as a strategic tool. He stated that "promises made, promises kept -- President Trump is proving tariffs are an effective tool to get other countries in line." He underscored the importance of reducing trade imbalances and strengthening national security.

Later on February 5, Franklin extended congratulations to Pam Bondi on her confirmation as U.S. Attorney General. He expressed confidence in her abilities by stating "Congratulations to my friend, @PamBondi... I know you will make Central Florida proud and serve us well!"
