Congressman Scott Franklin of Florida has expressed his support for the House Budget Resolution, H.Con.Res 14, aligning with policies from former President Trump. He criticized current President Biden's policies, stating they have negatively impacted the nation.

"Americans have suffered long enough under President Biden’s disastrous policies—which left our border open to invasion, allowed trillions in new spending, unleashed inflation on Americans, dismantled our energy independence and jeopardized American global leadership," Franklin stated. He emphasized the need for "bold, visionary leadership" to rectify these issues.

Franklin supported the FY25 budget resolution which aims to cut the deficit by $2 trillion through measures like reducing wasteful spending and securing the border. It also seeks to extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to prevent tax hikes. "This critical package will cut the deficit by $2 trillion by rooting out wasteful and fraudulent spending, secure the border, make critical investments in our national security and restore American energy independence," he noted.

The Congressman urged Senate cooperation with House Republicans and former President Trump on this initiative. "This is the only budget resolution that fully unleashes the President’s vision for a stronger, safer and more prosperous America," he added.
