Scott Franklin has served in the U.S. Congress since 2021 after replacing Ross Spano. He previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Thomaston, Georgia in 1964, Franklin now resides in Lakeland. An alumnus of the United States Naval Academy and Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University, he holds degrees from both institutions.
