Congressman Scott Franklin from Florida's 18th district has expressed his outrage following a violent incident in Minnesota involving the killing of lawmakers. In a statement, Franklin emphasized that violence should not have a place in politics.

"I am outraged by the violent killing of lawmakers in Minnesota today," Franklin stated.

He further highlighted the importance of resolving political disagreements through dialogue rather than brutality. "There is absolutely no place for violence in our politics. We may disagree, but those disagreements must be resolved through dialogue, not brutality," he said.

Franklin extended his condolences to those affected by the incident and called for unity across party lines to combat hate and violence. "My heart is with all who are grieving. We must stand united—across party lines—against hate and violence."
